The 11th of February was a national holiday and I started wandering in the afternoon.
Because I did not have to hassle on my solo bicycling, my choice of bike to go was TOEI
randonneur. I biked through Arakawa River Cycling Road toward Monomiyama Park as usual
training ride, but the course from the park was totally different. There ia a 5-km-long
trail from Monomiya Through Fuefuki Pass and I visited it. Thanks to its versatility, my
TOEI Randonneur could handle the soil or the gravel of trails. After almost one hour riding
in the trails, I came back to paved road for home. This versatility brought by the
equipped wheels of Araya alloy rims and Mitsuboshi Trimline 650/35A tires is a decisive
merit of using randonneur for touring.
(Today's Riding Distance: 80km)
