Equip Asada, a professional cycling team in Japan, produces a bicycling base facility named “Cyclo
Pavilion” in Higashimatsuyama, Saitama. Its grand opening day is March 14, 2009, and the preparation effort for opening is now accelerated. To see how the facility looks like, the group of Misaka Racing stopped over
the place on the way of Sunday training ride.

The pavilion principal, Koji Aizawa (formerly Koji Fukushima, an established professional rider in Japan) was busy for organizing the facility, but he briefly explained the concept of pavilion and how it can be used for
cycling activities. I think the idea, providing cycling station function for city resident riders, is sound and
appealing. However, there are plenty of car parking spaces for free in Higashimatsuyama and how they add
the value on the station function is the main problem to solve for Koji and his subordinates.

Besides the stopping over, the training ride was long and fast enough for me and I enjoyed it too much. I
also got a souvenir named a flat tire just before the arrival on my residence.
Fixing a flat on the sew-up! This troublesome task is for my next weekend.
